Пожарные и гсслужащие.
Возможно ли устроится пожарным в Канаде если проити полное обучение по этой профессии? Я имею высшее образование пожарного и отработал в МЧС около трех лет, будит ли это плюсом? Заранее, спасибо за ответ!

В этом топике обсуждаются военные и полицейские. Как я понял на эти профессии берут только граждан. К пожарным это тоже относиться? В любом случае, спасибо.

In Ontario, fire departments are established, funded and administered by municipalities. Municipalities have the responsibility of selecting and hiring firefighters. They also set the qualification criteria for hiring and evaluate candidates' qualifications. In general, the criteria usually include having the legal authorization to work in Canada.
The Citizenship and Immigration Canada Web site provides information on which documents or permits are required to work in Canada. Their Web site also provides the address, telephone number and e-mail address of their office at the Canadian Embassy in Russia.
To obtain information about the hiring criteria and positions available within a particular fire department, you would have to contact the fire department directly.
The page Becoming a Firefighter on the Office of the Fire Marshal's Web site explains briefly how to become a firefighter in Ontario. To obtain more information, I would advise you to contact municipal fire departments of interest directly.
Please note that all fire departments in Ontario would require that a candidate be able to understand and communicate in English.

Поделитесь опытом, может у кого то были схожие ситуации. Как мне подтвердить участие в ликвидации конкретных черезвычайных ситуаций, в посольстве, что бы в дольнейше предъявить их работадателю? Ведь в трудовой, отмечается только должность и стаж.

While the province may set criteria for firefighter recruitment and training, it is each fire department that sets its own hiring guidelines, eligibility criteria and recruitment process.
Toronto Fire Services hires all of our Operations Firefighters into the entry-level Probationary Firefighter position. Experience as a full-time professional structural firefighter would qualify you as having "enhanced qualifications" in our hiring process, but you would still be applying for a Probationary position. Be advised that our hiring process is quite competitive, and experience as a full-time firefighter would be an asset, but offers no guarantee of a job offer. You may find that other cities in Canada have different hiring policies, and may consider hiring you into a First Class Firefighter position but we can only provide information about our process for Toronto Fire Services.
Toronto Fire Services only accepts applications for Operations Firefighter positions during an annual Recruitment Campaign. The online application for this position is only available during an active hiring campaign. We have not yet determined the dates of our next hiring campaign. Please watch our website for updates. Opinion, привет, коллега. Я также работаю в МЧС и мне эта информация очень актуальна, правда, мы идем по Квебекской программе. То, что у разных отделов разные требования - это понятно, вот только на официальном сайте пожарных в Канаде было написано, что пожарным имеет право работать только гражданин. Получается, надо ждать еще 4 года после приезда...

с работой в МЧС связана еще одна засада при иммиграции - там никто не знает, что такое референсы; непосредственный начальник на бланке организации ничего подписывать не будет (не имеет на то полномочий), а самый главный начальник тоже ничего подобного подписывать не будет из принципа...

Скорее всего значение вашего опыта в МЧС будет практически нулевым. Ну или если повезёт и попадёт "понимающий" наниматеть то может маленький плюсик и будет.
О референсах можете не беспокоиться, никто не будет отсюда звонить в Росс\СНГ. Если они вам так уж нужны, наклепайте что то сами, да возьмите сами поставьте какуюнить закорючку.
Не стоит перенапрягаться там где это не нужно.
Я знаю парня (вижу неск раз в неделю его), он учился 2 года на пожарного , при чём официально требований к образованию нет при найме, но приходится так делать чтоб повысить свою конкурентноспособность. Так вот, он мне заявлял что на 10 вакансий около 8 000 заявлений, ну ещё сказал что из них(из 8 тыс) где то 4 000 могут потянуть. Сейчас он побывал на тестировании, в окресностях торонто набирают пожарных, письменный тест 4 часа и физподготовка. Ждёт результата.
Я переспрашивал его несколько раз про кол-во жаждущих, т.к. звучит невероятно.
Также сказал что это и частично "ирландский бизнес" , т.е. ирландцы тащат своих.
Также говорит что подаёт по всему Онтарио. Парень родился тут.
Это всё из его слов, так что злится тоже на него.
