вообще если они говорят то значит скептически смотрят на перспективы. но они вообще известные скептики. можно попробовать обратится к самим австралийцам, вроде этих

ритейл сюда подходит, не подходит держание акций на бирже, сдача жилья, перепродажа каких то активов. содержание магазина скажем никак не противоречит.
вообще не по всем бизнес визам даже требуют пригодного бизнеса дома.

You must be less than 55 years old (except where the regional authority considers that the proposed business will be of exceptional economic benefit to the region.)

You must be sponsored by an appropriate regional authority of a State or Territory Government.

You must have an ownership interest in a main business (or two main business combined) with an annual turnover of at least AUD300 000 in at least two of the four fiscal years immediately before you apply and you (and your partner combined) must have owned at least:

правительство штата обычно требует бизнес план, но это все легко делается. даже если на федеральном уровне не устроит тот бизнес который вы вели, можно представить любому штату проект нового бизнеса в Австралии и если они его удолетворят то проблем никаких. английский на 5 баллов это уровень 6го класса средней школы и 2-4 месяца подготовки с нуля. при спонсорстве штата он вообще не требуется, правда может требоваться штатом. правда потом для продления временной визы в постоянную нужно через 2 года показать нормальный бизнес, который будет отвечать хотя бы одному условию

но мне кажется это реально. только лучше обратится для конкретных консультаций к более серьезным юристам, эти мне кажется действительно очень ленивы.
